The Devil's Daughter

Image
On June 7th, 1992, the body of a young woman, Katie Radcliff, was discovered in Farnborough, England, three miles away from the nightclub she had been, with her friends, the night before in Camberley.  She had been stabbed 27 times, and some of the stab wounds went right THROUGH her body. What was even more disturbing, is that when her body was examined by the Coroner, it was discovered her sex organs had been mutilated and it was determined that even after Katie had died, the perpetrator had continued to stab her.  It was assumed that this murder had been committed by a man and they decided to focus on male suspects who had been at the same club as Katie and her friends the night she was murdered.  However, as the weeks and months slipped by, Katie's case turned cold.  Exactly two years later, a 14 year old female secondary student in Camberley, Ann-Marie Clifford, was lured to the girl's room by another 14 year old student, Sharon Carr. Sharon had told Ann-M...

The Horror Stories of Radiation Poisoning - It Doesn't Get Much Scarier Than This

Image
THE DEMON CORE  On May 30th, 1946, Canadian Physicist, Louis Slotin, died at a Los Alamos, New Mexico Hospital. His hands were blistered, burned and swollen and his body full of radiation.  Nine days prior, Slotin was in a lab with seven other scientists experimenting with a device they nicknamed Rufus . After that fatal day, the device would no longer be called Rufus , it would now be referred to as The Demon Core.  Slotin was a scientist working on The Manhatten Project, the same project that had created the Atomic Bomb dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki.  After Japan surrendered, there was no need for anymore Atomic Bombs so the government changed their focus. Slotin performed experiments with Uranium and Plutonium cores to determine their critical mass values.  On May 21st, 1946, an accident caused one of Slotin's experiments to go Supercritical. A bright blue flash was seen for only a fraction of a second before Slotin moved in to stop it. But the dam...

The Fresno Nightcrawlers

Image
In 2007, something very strange appeared on a video surveillance in Fresno, California.  Two strange humanoid shapes walking across a open field or lawn. But what is incredible with these beings is that they don't have arms...ju st really long legs and a head.  In 2010, the surveillance footage would become more famous when it was featured on a television show called Fact or Faked: The Paranormal Files. T he show would deem the strange beings as unexplainable after they tried to recreate it using puppets and a child in a sheet with no success.  Since the original footage has been shared, there have been several theories as to what they are. Some believe them to be alien, others believe it could be a Cryptid like Bigfoot or The Chupacabra. And some believe them to be puppets made out of pajama pants.  According to the lore surrounding the footage, the man who recorded the video on his security cameras, was so scared he refused to show his face when a local news...

Appalachian Wildmen

Image
Extending for almost 2,000 miles from Newfoundland, Canada to Central Alabama, United States, the Apalachian Mountains are one of Nature's greatest beauties. They are a vast expanse of land that are home to many types of wild life, that wild life possibly also including Wildmen, also known as Feral People.   According to the U.S Government, Feral People do not exist and do not live in or around the Apalachian Mountain range. But others who have hiked the Appalachian trail, which covers almost the entire mountain range, have a different story. Some people, including Forest Rangers, claim they have not only seen one of these Feral People, but have also been attacked by them!  In 1989, a 22 year old woman named Eloise, claims she was stalked by someone or something on the Appalachian Trail going through South Carolina.  Six months out of college, Eloise decided to take the hike along this part of the Apalachian Mountains to do "some thinking" about where she wanted to...

The London Thames Torso Murders

Image
While Jack  the Ripper was terrorizing London during the Autumn of 1888, another series of murders also had police perplexed .   Just like Jack, this murderer was never caught and their identity remains a mystery to this day. And just like Jack, this murderer showed signs they had knowledge in anatomy, leading those in charge of the case to wonder if this person also had medical training . But unlike Jack's, most of the victims were never identified.  In May, 1887, a year and a half before Jack the Ripper's first victim would be murdered, a mysterious bundle, wrapped in sheets, washed up on the banks of the London Thames.  Found inside was a woman's Torso. Over the course of the next few days and weeks, other body parts began to wash up until everything but the victim's head were found.  Due to a lack of a head and rapid decomposition of what remained of the woman's body, she could not be identified.  On September 11th, 1888, eight days after Jack's ...
